  • Do I need to schedule a First Time Client Consultation?
    No. The First Time Client Consultation is only for those who are not sure what style they want. Hair styles are suggestions are given at this consultation. The client desires a scalp and hair examination to determine hair texture, density, porosity etc.
  • Why is a consultation required prior to hair color?
    Hair color is a chemical process that can cause serious reactions even is the client had been getting color for years. It is also imparative that the hair and scalp is examined to make sure that the desired color shade can be accomplished. The client and stylist need to be on one page prior to the style day. It is also important that the tone of the skin works well with the desired hair color shade.
  • What will take place at a color consultation?
    This consultation is done 24 to 48 hours prior to your actual service to watch for any reactions on the skin & hair. The hair and scalp is carefully examined to ensure optimal health to receive a chemical service. We will look through a color book to choose the appropriate level and tone. Once the color is chosen, a patch test will be done on the skin and on the hair to make sure the desired tone can be achieved.
  • Why is a consultaiton required prior to extensions?
    Our goal is to provide healthy hair care options, not just style hair. Therefore, everyone cannot qualify for extensions due to certain conditions of their hair and scalp. The consultations allows us to get on one page about what extensions can be accomplished. We will look at pictures and also talk about what kind of hair will be chosen. This consultation can be done at least 1 days prior to extension services.
  • Why is a deposit required?
    A deposit is required to hold your appointment time and give you priority with rescheduling. It is non-redundable.
  • Is my deposit refundable?
    No. The deposit is non-refundable. We are defintely understanding in regards to emergency/urgent situations.
  • Is my deposit deducted from my balance?
    Yes. Your deposit will be deducted from your total balance at the end of your appointment.
  • After paying my deposit, can I reschedule or cancel?"
    Yes. You have 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time to reschedule or cancel without penalty. If you reschedule or cancel within 48 hours, you will loose your deposit.
  • How do I reschedule or cancel?
    All rescheduling and cancellations must be done through the Owner/Salon Manager Timeka Moore. Acceptable methods are email contact@sugacurlssalon.com or text 832 441 8364. Due to the busy nature of the Salon, phone calls are not encouraged nor accepted for rescheduling and canellations. It is our aim to assign your appointment time promptly within 24 to 48 hours. Please note that since online booking is 24 hours, availability can change rapidly.
  • How many times can I reschedule?
    You are allowed up to 3 rescheduled appointments. On the 3rd rescheduled appointment, full payment of Salon services are required to proceed with the appointment.
